Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Alex Kowtun earned a Master of Business from St. Bonaventure University and passed Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities exams all before he reached the age of 21. Over the years, he also obtained Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses, and a Florida Real Estate License.

In his early twenties, Kowtun was a partner in several companies in the financial sector. He relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida in 2010, a place he still considers “paradise.” Within several years of his move, Kowtun and two close friends founded Monkey In Paradise Vodka, currently the world’s highest rated vodka. The brand started off as a social experiment when Kowtun wondered if colorful plastic monkey cocktail markers would help his party guests better identify their drinks and “break the ice” more easily with each other. The monkey cocktail markers were a hit, helped people “get social” in-person instead of just on their mobile devices, and became a popular social media phenomenon in their own right. The “Monkey In Paradise” social media accounts grew quickly because they spoke to the millennial generation in an authentic way, marked by exciting lifestyle experiences. Today, the company has earned Double Gold at International Spirits Competitions worldwide and is growing its U.S. markets at a rapid pace.

While building the businesses, Kowtun often found himself “the face” and/or “voice” of his brands on social media, on television, on radio, in print, and at special events. As a result, his personal brand grew both on Facebook and Instagram. With over 50,000 combined followers on his accounts, Kowtun has become a trusted Influencer. His unique product branding and exciting lifestyle appeal to millennials who relate to his entrepreneurial spirit and are captivated by his adrenaline-pumping activities.

Aside from social media, Kowtun’s business ventures and personal adventures have gained the attention of audiences across the country. He is proud to be a contributor to Forbes as part of their Business Development Council. He also writes a lifestyle column, “Living In Paradise,” for Florida Weekly newspaper. Alex has been a consistent guest on ABC, NBC, FOX, and ESPN news affiliates to discuss his businesses, branding, and annual charity events. Thanks to Kowtun’s extensive network of friends, clients, and associates, he and his projects are featured in dozens of local and national broadcasts, podcasts, newspapers, magazines, and flyers each year.

Some of Kowtun’s most successful marketing campaigns have involved footage of his favorite past times. An avid pilot, Kowtun also enjoys racing cars and boats, and traveling to beautiful and exhilarating destinations all over the world. In sharing his own experiences, Kowtun hopes to inspire others to live life to the fullest too.

Currently, Alex has a portfolio of luxury, sport, and lifestyle companies for whom he provides creative and one-of-a-kind content, as well as access to even more of their target audiences. From content creation to acting as global brand ambassador, Kowtun offers a wide range of services to help businesses reach their goals and beyond.
